The time that I hate... the time to ask for money so we can operate for another year.
We currently have $1600 in the paypal account and we're going to need approximately $2300 for another year of 1.1M SDSL. So we need to come up with about $700 for the year. We have just a few weeks to raise this money. It kind of snuck up on me and I've been very busy with my house and work.
Many of you may wish to point out that there are many hosting solutions out there that are less money. I am aware of that, but they do not provide the hardware redundancy and control/access that I am comfortable with. We currently have the site and forum databases on separate RAID mirrors (across separate SCSI controllers) that provide the redundancy and performance needed for an active site like this. Plus, we have complete control over the box 24/7.
