what would you guys say is a good asking price for an SVT rear bumper? if you've bought one, what'd you but it for?

probably about $400+ but i bought my heavily damaged svt rear for $10.

Where are you located??? I know of one cheaper than $400, but really, how serious are you about purchasing right now??

I bought mine using www.car-part.com (free parts locator service) and the bumper I found from a junkyard in New York for $200 plus $100 for freight to my front doorstep, so I guess mine was $300 net cost. It was in perfect paintable shape.

Yah - check the yards... I got mine from a dude in NY with trunk lid for $245! AND he got free shipping! (-mesh and reflector)
