Ok, so I'm looking at new cars. There are many cars on the market that have more HP but, none have the look of a lowered SVT. WRX? Looks like crap even when lowered. SRT4? Yeah, it's super fast but still can't love it. Mazda 6s? To big for my taste. Mustang? Yeah, me and 5 trillion others. M Coupe? Killer car but, 30K for one with less than 25K on it.

For under 28-30K nothing can beat the look. Damn you ford! Bring the Mondeo!

Why ? is there something that they can do that your contour can not or are you just getting an itchy gas foot wanting something new ?

A slightly used BMW 3-series can't beat but can at least join IMHO, especially if you include the fact it's available with AWD. After an SVT I plan to get one of those. (Clearly I've got my car route planned out, hopefully it goes according to plan! )

Well my dad was going to buy a 95' M3 that had 58K on the clock, but it was an ATX. The price was right though, $20K and many MTX M3's can be found for $28K-30K and any of those will EXCEED the CSVT for driving fun, IMO. Another thing though, the Mazda 6 is too big , I don't get it! I'd wait for the Mercury version the Mondeo thats supposed to come over here, I've read and seen this this rumor many times, whether its on TV or in the car mags Also you could wait for the new Ford Futura, which is based off of the Mazda 6, oh yeah, thats too big for yah Good luck finding another ride, its a buyers market out there, thats for sure

I love my Mustang Cobra, I don't care how many Mustangs are on the road. I like the new 350z, too bad they cost too much

Mazda 6 too big? Some car rags or Honda fanatics say it's "too small" like the Tours.

I must vote for the Mazda since thats what I just bought!

I got mine for a steal too! 22,800. sticker was 27 and change, plus i got 3.4% financing.

It's the 6s, lapis blue, 220hp, bose, 6cd in dash, sport pack, comfort pack, moonroof, sport grille, etc... has every option except the chrome which i didnt like. definitely a great car so far! i've got almost 2000 miles on it already and i have had it for like 3 weeks now.
its a real head turner too, i get looks and comments on it everywhere i go!

I'd say it comes down to what you're looking to do with the car. I wanted something more refined than the SVT, and the WRX was not even close, very bland interior. The Mazda blew away any competition. It has so many options and features it's just nuts. It's got heated seats, heated mirrors, very decent bose system, just way too much stuff to list. I wanted comfortable, refined, and some power obviously. It's plenty quick, MPG same as the SVT too. To me, it even looks like it should cost $10k more than it does! I'd say go test drive one and tell me what you think. Once I got in it and drove it there was no going back. And since I made the purchase I could not be happier!

Get a 95 m3 and put on a turbo for 8k or supercharger for 5k. Mop up the competition and the e36 still looks incredible.
