I just got back from the SVO/SVT/Saleen reunion in TN, put on by the SVO Club of America. It was a mainly SVO show with Lightnings, Cobras, Contours and Saleens showing up (in decending order by number IIRC).
I have to say that the group of people that were there were truly great and the cars were a ton of fun to see. The interesting thing is how closely our cars and theirs perform. In the autocross, I beat all but three of the SVO's (it was my first time autocrossing) and in some of the informal street racing going between events, my stock tour did an admirable job keeping up in straight lines too.
I was just wondering about their inclusion after becoming enightened to their similarities to our cars.
