The Dates for Spring Zing 2001 are April 27th, 28th, and 29th 2001!!!

The preliminary list of events are as follows:
Friday- 11am-5PM Lane Automotive will be having a SZ2001 Welcoming Day! Included in this is Tours of the 153,000 square foot motorsports warehouse/complex, Free hats & T-shirts, many products for our cars will on display and will also be available for purchase in the Lane Automotive Show Room.
Ford Racing Representatives will be on hand on Friday to answer your questions and most importantly Listen to your wants, needs, and ideas for performance products made for these cars!!!
Friday night there is going to be test & tune night at US 131 Dragway.
Saturday-Currently we have two options available:
1-We have the option of having a dyno day at baker Engineering.
2-For those who do not want to run their cars on the Dyno we have a large cruise planned out with stops at such places as the Gilmore Car Museum and a few other surprise stops along the way!
Saturday night will be the SZ2001 Banquet and awards, Guest Speaker(s) TBA!!
Sunday-We will be having the first annual Spring Zing Cup (SCCA SOLO2 with Contour and SHO Specific classes and awards!!!) Special Guests TBA!!!

All hail the SVT/SHO Society, you have done with SZ what I never could!

Amazing what you can get accomplished with a group as opposed to one person. Best of luck, it's looking like a great event!

Yes the convention is still being held in Kalamazoo. We are currently price shopping with different hotels in order to provide the best accommodations at the most resonable prices( not to mention a place with the biggest parking lot!! )

Yeah, well, I didn't like the idea of leaving my SVT in pieces at some dealership a couple of hundred miles from home, unlike someone else...

As for K'zoo, it's still on the radar, that's for sure. Guess I'll have to wait and see when the time gets closer, but I'd definitely like to go. I'm curious to see how it turns out, 'cause it's looking good.

Oh yeah, and it's funny...wheelhop hasn't yet affected my Bimmer!
