Its been well over 90 the past three days here and when I'm travelling down the highway the air blows clean and as cold as you want it. As soon I stop at a light, or slow down in traffic, it blows very warm with a slight smell of antifreeze. The needle also goes from btwn N and O to btwn A and L in a hurry too. Fans kick on like they should.

Is anybody else's like this? (Its got a new waterpump, btw)
Compressor on its way out?

Oh, it also makes a very loud rattling noise when backing up with a/c on.

(Sorry, just realized this should be in Maintenance. Too slow a typist to re-do!)
