Ok, here's the dealyo. I have an established company interested in fabricating complete replacement IMRC covers in real carbon fiber.
They will begin construction if we get as little as five people really interested. However, like other group buys featuring new products that require R&D and a new market, the less people interested the more it will cost. As few as five people the cost will be $250 and this will not include any writing on the CF. They can, however, use just about any color combination for the CF you may want: black, yellow, red, blue. This is at no additional cost.
Remember, the more people interested the better off we are!!

If you are interested in seeing some of their other products please go here: Project Nighthawk.
I require nothing of you other than your word that if we get enough people interested you will go through on this - only people initially donating time and/or money will be me and the company performing the work.
Naturally they want to gauge responses before starting work on a prototype but my IMRC cover is in their hands (my engine's so naked!! ) and they are confident they can do this.

I implore you, HELP!! LOL

If interested - please post so we can accurately measure interest!

I'm interested, but not for $250. How much for 10 orders? 20 orders?

Ouch, sorry about that.

Five initial units are $200, not $250. Sorry about that! I probably already scared everyone away!! LOL

Prices drop about $25 for the first 10 and another $25 for 25 customers. Good question, thank you.

Are you talking about the cover on the IMRC,
or the plastic cover that mounts to the Valve cover with "DURATEC" molded on it ??

Yes. Hence no letters or writing on it!

Yes, it's fairly expensive but some people will pay for it. I know I've wanted one for some time.

I might cough up $200...what say you shoot for however many orders it takes to get $150. Fair enough price. What's that, 25-30 orders?

[Hans Moleman] One please [/Hans Moleman]

I agree, lets try to hold out for the $150 cover.....I can talk myself into it much easier.

LMFAO!! I saw your post under aesthetics and I was thinking you were one I COULDN'T count on!! I was really bummed. LMAO Looks good...

Anyway, in order to get the price down to $150 we only need 25 people to order! That's really not a whole lot considering the amount of people on the CEG. Pimps galore. LOL (Ooh, and pimpettes, too. Can't forget thisgirls98.5svt LOL)
If we get 50 or more then it's only $125.
$125!!! That's nothing for something that will totally change the look of the engine bay! A lot of people have been asking for this and I honestly think this is our chance!!! Carbon-creations has been too busy to create products right now - much less create NEW products and finding someone willing to cater to a small group of enthusiasts such as ourselves is a godsend!
I'm relying on EVERYONE that is the SLIGHTEST bit interested to post so we can say YES, LET'S GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD!! I know we can do it.

I'm interested, but I'll be honest, I don't have the money right now and I would MUCH rather see it at 150 or below.
