Well we got sick of the way our backyard looked so we decided to change things up a bit. They only this we didnt do is whats in the second pic. We had someone come out and tear all the old grass and all the other junk outta there. But my brother and i did the rest. Let me know what you think.

Thanks Guys and Yeah David we put about 3 days into it but i love the way it turned out.

Looks very nice , whoever designed the first yard (specifically that well in the middle) should be punished.

Nice job! Can't wait to have a yard of my own to work on (Closing date of my house is July 15th )

Just be carefull with the woodchips being that close to the siding of the house. It promotes Termites

Yup we did lay the plastic down before we threw the chips on.

haha, whoops The only mulched areas in our yard are either long thin strips (walkway, house perimeter) or contain plants so large that plastic is avoided (blueberry bushes, mountain laurel, etc)
