Hey everyone, went out to the track last night and made some passes with the Tour'. Weather was in the low 80's with moderate humidity(around70%) and a light wind. The track I run at, Moroso motorsports park is decently maintained, and is very close to sea level.

Upon arrival I met a few guys with Lancer EVO's, a WRX(modded), and a RSX Type-S(modded). All were very impressed with the craftmanship/design of the turbo kit and were anxious to see the car run. While they themselves had all anticipated their car's to run in the mid to low 13's, I could only dream of running that quick. They all wished me luck in the tech line and it was time to run.

Originally I had planned to run 7psi, but I noticed some mild detonation on the trip up and decided to run on the 5psi that turned 230whp/213whtq on the dyno a few weeks back.

My first run consisted of a feathered 3k clutch slip, and WOT once the car was moving to avoid spin/hop.

1/8 9.206
mph 81.54
1000 1.822
1/4 14.019
mph 103.04

So close on the first run, and I was very excited to see the WRX go 14.1, and the EVO to go 14.2! The EVO that had decided to not run until it cooled off congratulated me on a good run, and was dissapointed in his buddies that obviously goofed up.

The next two runs were nearly identical: Spin in first, second, and try and make up some time the rest of the run.

The fourth run was a little different. I decided to launch harder, and really try for a good sub 14 run.

1000 11.763

As you can see the 60' dropped 1/10th, and the 1/8th dropped 2/10th's, but I missed the 3-4 shift resulting in the same damn thing!

Next run was another 14.00, but I knew she had more if I could focus on launching.

6th run of the night in less than three hours(not much cool down time):
r/t .471 whoops!
60' 2.238

1/8 9.012
mph 80.99
1000 11.632
1/4 13.833
mph 102.82

There she is, the elucid 13 sec. run. I parked the car after that....not wanting to press my luck, and being happy with the overall performance of the car...as were many other's.

The quickest I saw the WRX go was a 13.5 at 100, and the quickest I saw the EVO go was a 13.6 at 98. I had a few interesting runs including an 03' Lightning with spray that went 13.061 at 103 to my 14.000 at 102.78. My last run being the 13.8 was against a 00' Cobra with nitrous who I believed pooped himself when I was next to him the whole time...he ran a 13.406 at 105 to my 13.833 at 102.82.

This kit is awesome! 5psi, 3" exhaust, Quaife/clutch and I'm in the 13's on 215/45/17 radials with 39.5 psi tire pressure!

Sorry for the long post!

2 thumbs up VERY NICE JOB!
You also had extremely good 60' times, and if you happen to meet that WRX or EVO on the highway....not promoting anything....you could take them

Really nice work!
The AWD cars only edged you out because of the launch..your superior trap speeds suggest that you would have run 'em down with a bit more room..
