heya guys and Gals,

I was wondering if any of you could let me know the sizing needed to put Speedbleeders on all four wheels and the clutch of an E0 SVT. I have searched and searched through old posts, and while everyone says that the Speedbleeders are the shiznit, they don't actually give sizes.

I am sure that I am not the only one out there that would appreciate the info. So, if you can help us out, we'd be much obliged...

PS: do you all think that paying double for the stainless versions is worth the extra money?

Cheers,
TK

SB1010 for the fronts, SB1010S for disk brake rears.
Didn't put one on the clutch - don't know if that's commonly done.

Those are the sizes that speedbleeders quoted me when I called them before ordering mine awhile back. BTW: I saw speedbleeders at NAPA last time I was in there picking some stuff up. Limited selection of sizes, but might be worth a look if you have a NAPA store close by.

Ummm, aren't they brass to begin with? Mine didn't look like they'd rust, and the stock bleeder screws looked good, too after 6 years and 50k. I didn't even know there were 2 options for material choice.

I don't think speedbleeder offers both sizes in stainless right now. They definitely don't have the clutch bleeder screw yet, he needs dimensions from someone to make it.

The standard ones are NOT brass. They're a carbon steel with a zinc dichromate plating to prevent rust.

also for those interested, if you call Speedbleeder and ask, they'll give you a 10% discount. Info is posted in the group buy section.

If you order directly from speedbleeder, they know the sizes for our cars. I recommend getting the bag kit as well.

I got the stainless for front and back a while ago, just haven't put them on yet.

Mine has the SB8125L-8M+1.25 in the front and SB1010-10M+1.0 for the rear.

Thanks everyone for the info... I'm going to give Speedbleeders a ring and get some rightaway.

Cheers,
Tom
