Hello all....I am looking to remove the gauge cluster from a 95 contour. The speedo cable is hanging me up. I am trying to get at the warning light bulbs along the bottom of the cluster to replace burnt-outs. It's not my car and I am working without any manuals.....any possible help or info? Thanks.

Welcome onboard.

Should be enough slack to pull cluster back and remove speedo cable. Cable is 2 piece and can also be disconnected in engine compartment close to firewall.

I'll see if I can find an old thread and add via edit.

Edit: gauge cluster w/speedo cable

Here, this should get you started. The 95's might be a little different but I'm sure not much.

Are you serious. It works for me. And way go to the forums at http://www.fordcontour.org then scroll down to interior modifications. These are the Indiglo Gauge install instructions. They are not exactly for your car, but should put ypu on the right track.
