I hate you all... i paid 110 for mine.

BUT, i did get my B&M for 85, which is a $100 savings, so that makes up for it.

Just Installed mine. All I can say is WOW! Smoothes the engine right out. Revs quite a bit slower though. Well worth the upgrade IMHO
Cheers

I may be a little late in asking but what is DMD an abbrev. for? Where does it go and what does it accomplish?

Dual Mode Damper
A replacement for the crankshaft pulley, the DMD dampens harmonic vibrations at two specific frequencies. Many claim this will decrease harmful "crank whip" which bends the crank out of shape and can possibly spin the rod end bearings.
Above 4000 RPM, the stock duratec crank damper inadequately absorbs harmonics generated by the crankshaft. Duratec experts have cited that excessive harmonics and "crank whip" could cause the excessive "crank-whip" and spin the rod bearing. A spun beraing means engine rebuild or replacement.

Luckily, Ford produces a Dual Mode Damper that better absorbs harmonics above 4000 RPM. The "DMD" is different because it has a second damper ring pressed onto it's face that kick's in above 4000 RPM, hence "dual modes." People who have installed this damper on their V6 Contour, Mystique or Cougar have reported an engine that feels smoother and more refined.

And so a Zetec is not to worry about crank whip...
