I have a 1998 svt contour and i just got it back from the shop, got a new tranny put in. Ever since i got it back the ABS light has been on. Its been about 3 weeks or so. My brakes seem to be working ok, just ok, they seem to be a little soft. I took it to a school that had a star tester and i got a C1095 code. I looked it up and i found taht it said its a Hydrolic Pump Motor circut fault/faliure. I dont really have an idea what that could be so if there are any smart brake men out there some help would be greatly appreciated.

You should have IMMEDIATELY returned to the shop to see if they had left a connector loose or something like that. The longer you wait, the less inclined they are to believe that it happened while they had it. You still should take it back and explain that you were just a little bashful about bringing it back.

If it turns out to be something they are not responsible for, then get involved with finding out just what is going on.

Well actually i did take it back to the guy that fixed it and he said that there is no way that he could have done anything to make the light come on. My argument was if it wasnt like that when i droped it off then it shouldnt be like that when i get it back. So now what im trying to do is just fix it and try to forget about all the problems ive gone through with this car.

Did they at least look to see if they had left a connector loose? I would not think much of a shop that would not at least review their work when a problem pops up.
