Just wondering what everyone in western canada uses for gas.

Ive been religous about using Petro Canada gas. I just put a tank of Shell in tho to try it out. My last tank of Petro got me 580 KM out of 48 Litres. Thats pretty good (all highway driving with cruise set to 110).

On my way back is where I switched to shell. It got a little less KM out of it but I was driving a little faster with more stop and go traffic. Ill try a few more tanks of it to get the pcm used to it and see how I like it. Its 91 octane of course as thats all I'll put in my car.

But who has the best gas???

I used to be religious about Petro Canada but since i got my speedpass last fall i only use Esso.
never noticed any milage difference between Petro Canada's and Esso's gas. If i used premium on my car i would fill up at Esso and get 92octane for the price of 91octane from Petro.

The best gas in Canada comes from Irving (SP) around here it's SUNOCO. They have by far the lowest level of contaminents of any of the suppliers in this area. I think Irving is only available on the east coast.

So I took the plunge and filled up with a tank of 92 octane esso. Ordered my speedpass as well!

so far in town driving seems to get better fuel economy then the others I have tried. Seems to run not bad either. I'll be using this for probly like 5 tanks to see how the car likes it. So far so good tho!

I've always thought Esso gas was the worst. Everytime I put it in my cars, I get about 4-5 mpg worse! This is true for both of my cars, and over several tanks each. Perhaps the pumps are inaccurate relative to other pumps or something.

I usually put Shell 91 octane in.
