The moment most of CEG has been waiting for!

277.9hp @6800 rpm
229 lb-ft TQ (no rpm yet)

Graph will be posted late today or tommorrow!

Dave took this for a ride and he said the car is the most fun he has ever driven! He says its for sure low 13's (if you can hook up) and the powerband feels so docile, it just pulls and pulls and pulls and pulls. She runs 7K no problem. At 2000 rpm in 5th he stands on it with no detonation.

We did back the numbers down a little for safey and it runs a tick over 9psi at 7K rpm.

I'm getting it shipped back and will post pictures, driving impressions, etc. WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For some these number may not represent as big of a gain as we were estimating but I always wondered how the SC 3L escape with a more effiencent blower only added 77hp which is exactly what we got here plus a few for SVT cams, etc. Remember this is about 320ish HP at the flywheel!!! My 6 month nightmare has ended and I'm EXTEMELY FIRED UP to have my baby back and shred my old toyo's on the way to the tire shop!

Congratulations. Those numbers speak for themselves. Track numbers will be a site to see. Will this motivate Buckshot to finish? Most torque on the boards so far? But look out for Anastazi's. Midwest cars rule.

Well, I'll admit it.... I'm disappointed. The torque is nice, but honestly I was really expecting to see a lot more.
Oh well, its running and sounds like it is running strong which is a good thing!

Rememember buys this isn't a magic HP machine, it is a stock 3L with the only HP producing parts as SVT cams/TB/UIM. It has gutted pre-cats and a 2.5" quasi dual exhuast. There is no way to add 150hp to a stock 200/200 engine with just a SC. People have been over estimating gains since the start. Thankfully I have stayed more realistic and this is NOT a dissappointment to me. It was de-tuned for 91 winter octane. The goal of the tune was safety not HP, I could care less on the number as long as it runs at that number for years to come. If I would have pulled over 300FWHP I had plans to back it down anyway for fear of a rod giving way.

I was looking for just a bit more from it in the beginning, but as mild as that 3L is, those are VERY good numbers. With all of the extras Rick has done, he shouldn't have any trouble running right past 300 at the wheels.

Jesse, it sounds as if you have your baby the way she was meant to be. But, tell us... was there anything wrong with it besides the chip needing actual dyno tuning, or was something else wrong?

Nope I was right there were no vacuum leaks, no failures on the install it was all in the tuning. BTW the EEC is flashed there is no chip anymore.

Thanks so much Brad for your help in all of this! This has been a hell of install but its finally done, remember what I wanted when we started?....250FWHP and 230 FWTQ looks like I got that and then some

What amazes me is that the owner of the shop has driven everything and he said this is bar none the most fun he has had driving a car. That is a amazing compliment, numbers don't mean everything, I can't wait to get her back!

BTW anyone rmember the eliminator? SC (roots blower)3L with reworked SVT heads pulled 256hp, so I beat SVT and Roush's best

Nice numbers Jesse!!!! Can't wait to see the graphs. Make sure you get a a/f graph up too!!!

IIRC You are running stock 3.0 heads with SVT cams..no P&P work...right? Single or dual honed SVT upper?

Congratulations!!!

Congrats, very solid numbers. Numbers are right on par, the SC adds 100hp and 50ft/lbs. Puts you at 177/180 N/A.

Just wondering why you opted for the SVT cams, the extra duration is not exactly required for the SC. I have a set sitting here, but am going to stay with the 3L cams and see what numbers that puts out.
