personally i do not know...I use the KKM but i put a larger K&N filter part # Ru-3530. It seems to work the best for me considering my car is N/A.

I will consider lager if i fo with any type of F/I.

But I would reconmend buying just the filter adpater for your MAF, custom build a heat sheil and find purches a k&N filter sepreatly...save you some money. I also hear a lot of people like the Sho SHop intake becasue of the heat sheild it comes with....I hear it works well.

Best thing to do is trial and error, buy an intake kit and filter, and dyno your car....if your still not happy build or buy a heat sheild....if your still not happy use a bigger filter.

where's demon at when you need him lol....well ok i'll say it before he does....large mouth k&n and a maf adapter(also heatshield)...

i currently have a kkm,but am awaiting delivery of my k&n ru-3530 myself to put in place of the s&b that comes with the kkm....i will also be fabricating a heat shield when my filter arrives...

In the words of Demon:

Get a large mouth K&N.

Hoosier's idea of a non flanged Pro-M is not bad. It will free up another inch of length for the filter without any other changes.
I suspect the price is the same for the flanged or non-flanged too so then it would also save you buying a MAF adapter. (Though you would have to buy a $200 Pro-M {which is worth it IMO} and have 19lb injectors)
