My car has a gas smell from the exhaust? What would cause this and what should I do? It has 85,000 miles on the car. Thanks, Jason D

your car is not using all of the gas in the combustion chamber. somehow, the gasoline is leaving the combustion chamber through the exhaust ports. this could be because of bad fuel injector(s) spraying too much fuel in the chamber or because of a fuel filter/pump problem.

have you noticed any difference in performance? any liquid dripping from the exhaust (other than water?)?

300 HP 1995 Contour GL...Gold Metallic paint in july 2001, i was driving my honda civic and was hit by a drunk. it totalled my honda and i sued for $250,000. i won. 50k for school, 50k for my 95GL 150k for new house.

either that or its freakin flooded...if thats the case, let it sit for an hour and try it again.
