anyone get bad service in Edmonton?

i got my true duals at park muffler, thought they did a decent job. Well yesterday on my day off I had a chance to scan my check engine light which i thought was due to an mil eliminator not working.

what i got pissed me off and scared me. lean codes, rich codes, o2 heater not working, cat below threshold (the code I was expecting), o2 not registering.....

there was a whole list, so I get my ussual shop to take a look at it. we hoisted it up, pulled the o2 sensors out that werent registering - they were demolished!

both an upstream and a downstream were wrecked. the shop left the o2's in when they gutted my cats. one was cut through partially from the whole they cut in my manifold, one was broken off from being hit alot while gutting.

I got 2 new o2's put in and it worked just fine, no CEL, ran good.

I talked to Park Muffler before getting this done at my shop and i told them the price - they said that if it fixed the problem they would pay...

different story when i got there. they wouldnt pay for anything and said i should have let them do it. - after the work they did to my car im sorry but i wont let them fix anything again.

after 3 and a half hours of yelling, bitching and showing other customers the work they do there, i got 3/4 of my money back.

PARK MUFFLER - NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

ok rant off - sorry for the long post

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, but at least you got your car fixed. How expensive is it to replace the O2 sensors?

Hey advocate I saw your car today at clairview. Pretty nice job on the exhuast. It looks pretty mean.
Man since the gas went up to 80 i'm not willing to drive to school and back home, just to much in gas money and stuff.

Ouch! That is what concerns me about the SVT coming out of hibernation soon. SUNOCO ultra 94 is about .92-.93/L.

High gas prices = Reduced fun factor

No more redline runs for me.
