Was talking to Stebro to see if they would be interested in making a system for the contours and they seemed pretty interested.

Here is a link to their website Stebro , they make exhaust for Ferrari's, Maserati's and Lambo's

Anyhow the estimate which I received for 10 orders was right around $800. Checking their prices on their website it seems like a good price.

If there is interest it would be made in April since they only have a 3+ inch mandrel bender right now , they told me they are getting the 2" ones in april.

This would be from the manifold to the back including flexpipes with NO CAT. If you would like to have a CAT it would be extra. The system would be stainless steel

I just thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone would be interested.

no resonator or cat? IF it can be had with both, I'd be interested, price seems commensurate with what Yo Dude was quoting us, though aluminum is lighter. . .

Just got off the phone with Stebro

I have some good news for all you people in the states. The price which was quoted includes Ontario sales tax of 15% so the price is actually $695

Anyhow if you would like cat's they could add two bullet cat's at an extra cost (I forgot to ask how much , will ask and let you all know).

If you want resonators they can add two resonators at the end near the tips (I don't think it will cost extra)

As you said aluminum is lighter but it also costs much less

thanks
Nima

Just as a note I am in for this group buy!

that's REALLY cheap, and I don't think adding two cats would add more than $150 or so, so I'm thinking I'm in pending fitment. . .I don't want it sitting low, especially since it'll look stupid on the CSVT with an inch gap between the tips and the exhaust cuts.

I'm assuming the tips are single, or are they dual?

could you find out what type of steel they would be using as well, since they list two types on their web site: the new 439 steel that's supposed to be really light and still retain ss properties, and the traditional 304 ss; or a combination of both. And what choices do we have with tips, etc???

Sorry for all the questions, it seems rare that a reputable company like them would be willing to come along and do this. . .BTW, check out their site everyone, the 6-pipe exhuast for the 575 Maranello is NUTZ

I'll give them a call tommorow, if you have any other questions let me know.

I can tell you right now that there wont be any fitment issues and no sitting low problems.

When I was talking to them they also told me they are thinking of one main muffler in the middle which would be placed in the optimum position that would also work as an x-pipe.

The price is more than reasonable we just need 10 commited people

The tips are probably what ever you want. They are gonna be single one each side. I'll confirm all this tommorow.

I just remembered something, the pieces will be connected with flanges not slip on pipes

My (limited) understanding is that using a muffler as an x-pipe is suboptimal. In addition, there are only a limited number of places where a dual in - dual out muffler would fit (namely the resonator site and cat site). It would be pure luck if that spot turned out to be the optimal spot for x-pipe placement..

Any other experts on this?? Be nice to have well designed stainless duals at a price like this...

I'd be interested too. Quality, manifold-back, true dual for just a couple hundred over normal cat-back systems sounds great.
