The 3in pipe is mostly for people who are possibly getting a turbo soon and dont want to have to upgrade their exhaust later on.

For those of you listening to the sound clips of their dyno runs at PF, note that this is the LOUD system. I asked them.

To satisfy my curiosity which system do most plan to go with? The quiet or the loud system. Myself I do a lot of highway driving and I don't wan't it "droning" at 3 to 4 thousand rpm. If there isn't a performance difference I'll stick with the quiet one.

He said there is no performance difference. The mufflers offer the same amount of flow. I'm going with the quiet and probbably the 4in tips . He said the sound was not affected by the tip size and i think the 4in look awesome.

i'd go with the quiet system...now if i can just get my wallet to go along with any of this...i'd need a couple months and i doubt everyone wants to wait that long...if everyone is ready to get their system sooner i'd have to drop out, eventhough i never officially committed to the buy

and i still have a 2.25 magnaflow sitting in my bdroom that i haven't decided what to do with yet
