LOL... well it did.  Otherwise, it is in perfect shape, plus they cut the nozzle holes out. I think I have a plan for it. I think this was discussed before, there is no clearcoat on this, right? And should I clearcoat it? I might just apply that invisible bra stuff to it.

That is all I need is a chip on this fine hood. I better have them put 10 coats of clear on it then...

I thought people said there is no clearcoat on it, I might have misread. I'm gonna have to check here in a bit. Still looking for hood pins too...

AFAIK, most CF materials don't have clearcoats on the finished pieces. The clear stuff is actually the resin. The 3M clearbra is very good stuff. I have it on my truck and it's been there since new. Over three years and 115,000 miles. All that time only one rock has actually made it through the material. It's very clear and only when it is dirty do the lines really show up. I also get asked quite a bit by folks that have never seen it, "Who cut your hood in a straight line?" But that only happens when it's dirty, like it is now. Dang snow and salt roads!!!!

That is what I keep hearing... Either you like it or dislike it. I just want to make sure I don't get a big chip. I'll have to see if my friend's dad can clearcoat it for me. Usually only cost me for the paint and clearcoat. Now I'm wondering what to do with the original hood... Anyone need one? LOL
