how much do the fiberglass hoods weigh vs. the carbon fiber?? If i waited this long, I might as well wait until the CF ones are done...but i'd really like to get it on the car so i can enjoy it before i have to take it off again in the winter. And who even knows if im still gonna have my car next year.

I was thinking about switching over.......but caving into the FG over CF would be a mistake for me to do.
Guys........have you gotten any word if the hoods are or are not on their way?

No kidding! NorCal, Dev...........please speak up about the currant situation about the CF hoods. I am not happy about the scilence, and would expect a bit more attention on this almost 2 year long GB. Please step up and handle this GB and let us know when we can expect our CF hoods, no more BS. This has been strecthed too far with the info you've given us, solid info is needed at this time. What is it going to take to get a delivery date or atleast an actual CF hood "prototype"? The lack of either is very disturbing at this point, IMO. Is a total refund an option at this point? I don't want to get s$&%ty about this, but that is what it is coming to with the amount of effort you both are showing us. F$&# these BS weekly updates, I want actions! If not, please offer a refund. -Daymon

From a bystanders point of view and having read many of these threads it appears you guys got taken for a ride and gave your money to a scam artist. The same deal with the gauges and the Kaotic group buy.
I would do what you can to get your money back, if he doesnt offer or give you a refund if you ask then it is time to file complaints like people did with Adam. With the other group buy there are left over hoods and you could just easily buy one of them as people there have said they got their hoods.
just my opinion, not flamebait by the way Perry, just incase for some reason someone would see it as that.

STFU you [censored] tool  OK I'm also not very happy with this situation one bit. But,I still have faith in Norcal and Devious. I personally asked him where my hood was and he got hella pissed. Which he should..that too me was enough to let me know hes very very mad about this situation. And for all the idiots that think it's a [censored] scam. If thats the case then why do Norcal and Devious have so many GB's going on on NECO?? I was involved with one and it went rather smoothly. And like they said the product had to be perfect for them to ship and it was. I just wish some would call them PM them etc. I know I did.

I would've PM'd that last post, but I've PM'd before with no real results. I've been asking for options, and have not gotten any. NorCal and Dev are just slacking at this point IMO, atleast what I'm seeing. I know there is more than meets the eye (woah....transformers) but at this point in this GB, we should be updated with any new info or their attempts to get us our hoods. No offense meant towards NorCal and Dev, I am just getting very tired of this GB (I'm sure you are too). I know filing any type of charge is not anything I was even thinking of, nor would I. They have a great reputation and I don't think I am getting ripped off. Sorry for the harshness

Maybe this was intended as a good deed, but I hardly think it is your place to call out these guys. I know personally that Nor & Dev will do ANYTHING to ensure satisfaction! I bet out of any of us they are the most frustrated, so lets try to understand their perspective before throwin out accusations.
