so whatever happened to having hem clearcoat it for us as a means for making up for a 1year+ old GB???

I'd be interested in having them do it since they CLEARLY know what they're doing, and can get it done at the factory cheap. . .for extra $$$ understandably.

Okay, here's the deal folks.

We've been told by our manufacturer that they are ready to start production (a few last minute items had to be noted on the hood). Carbon fiber is going to be a longer wait than fiberglass, due to short supply and high prices (and demand!).

What we can do is offer this:

If you want your hood FASTER and you decide you want FIBERGLASS instead of CARBON FIBER, please email sales@initialvelocity.com with your name and address and I'll convert your purchase.

For the GROUP BUY ONLY, those who choose to trade their carbon fiber for fiberglass will have NO ADDITIONAL FEES to pay (shipping) (excepting the additional $30 for residential delivery).

This means if you want to trade down from CF to Fiberglass, not only do you get it faster, but you don't owe anything more.

All hoods are going to come with complementary tuner style hood pins.

I need to know by this friday what the tally is of FB to CF.

FB will be available approx 2-4 weeks faster than CF, as fast as those little chinese factory worker hands can go :-D

Anyone who wishes to purchase a fiberglass hood and isn't on the group buy- your price is $425 shipped to a business ($455 to a residence).

Non group-buyers do NOT RECEIVE free hood pins.

Thanks for the update and I'll wait out the Carbon Fiber. I've been extended another month here anyways so I've nothing better to do.
