The stock latch works on the hood just fine. The hood is a tight fit, but the prototype is fiberglass and will be thicker than the production piece (carbon fiber), hence it won't have the '16 year old virgin' tightness to the fit.
The scoop clears the motor by a half an inch (at least) and..
It even matches several 'lines' on the body incredibly well.
