This is the everlast GB A couple of more weeks and we'll actually have pics of the prototype.

Who's doing the test fitment? How far could it be off if it is? They did make a mold of an actual functional hood......

My guess is that if there is any fitment issues, it'll be with the ribbing on the underside of the hood. If they weren't thinking and had to make it beefier or different than the OEM underside (which barely shut over the duratec as is )....... it can be a tad hairy

Any bets? (Verbal of course, just trying to pass the remaining time of this GB )

I'm 50/50 on the prototype. It'll either be perfect or they'll screw it up big time. But considering the company has alot of experience with CF I'm not too worried

i just hope that it turns out better than mine does......even though my was an actual production hood and NOT the prototype...... im wishing you all luck.

Whats the next best thing to receiving the actual prototype?

NOTE: THE TEST FITMENT PROTOTYPE WE WILL BE RECEIVING IS GOING TO BE MADE OUT OF FIBERGLASS, BUT THE PRODUCTION HOODS WILL STILL BE MADE OF THE 2X2 TWILL CARBON FIBER, SO DO NOT WORRY

We have not received the actual prototype yet, but I managed to get them to send me pictures of this one that is supposedly on a boat at this current moment
