Yup! We're always open for more people to jump in on the group buy. So long as you order before the prototype comes in you get the $425 + shipping price (Pay $425 now, pay shipping when the hoods arrive in the states).

After the prototype arrives, you'll have to pay our retail price on these hoods which is going to be a chunk of change more than $425.

This has probably been answered in the past... But will these hoods come PRE-Clear Coated? or will we need to get that done as well!~? Just wondering so that i know! THANKS

It has been answered before, but I don't know that anyone expects you to read through every page, I know I don't. Anyway, if memory serves correctly, they are NOT being cleared. They'll have a coating of some kind on them, some UV protectant stuff, but no slear coat. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here...

Correct. These hoods come with UV-resistant resin, which will prevent the sun from turning the carbon fiber greenishyellow.

Clearcoat is recommended but not necessary. Clearcoat will protect the finish of the hood (You can always polish the clearcoat or sand it and re-clear but you can't really sand down and re-resin the hood), and protects against acid rain. For daily drivers, I recommend clearcoat on the hood. For a show car that is driven maybe once or twice a week, I would pocket that money and not worry about it.
