Has anyone priced doing a turbo on a 2.5 Duratec?
I know it has been done because I saw the article about "The Beast" I think it was called. A Turboed after cooled 2.5 SVT motor, It pushed 450hp at the wheels. I just have to ask how much it cost. I'm not looking for 450 but anything close to 300 and I would be very happy.
Any thoughts or ideas?

you really need to search. Their is a turbo available for the duratec, that was developed by street flight. Several people on here have the turbo on the 2.5 duratec, with many others getting ready to do this mod. Also there is someone getting ready to turbo the 3.0 as well.

also there are a few F/I 3.0L's at the cougar forums that are in the process as well. S/C i think NECO

I'm going to see what a turbo will do to my MOSTLY stock duratech pretty soon. Over a year ago I did all my work with a forced induction future in mind, of course that was a vortech on the list then but times do change.
