Double post!  How about the RPM parking to meet up. Its right off Hwy 50 on Bradshaw. Then we can take Bradshaw to Jackson Road to the track.

This should be one fun Sunday! If you are interested in getting together before then (when your in town) let me know. We can swap numbers though a PM or something.
I am not that far from the track and I believe the Friday night Test and Tune sessions will be going on then. $10 to watch.. $40 to race but they are cracking down on street legal cars on Test and Tune day.. supposed to be for the non street legal cars.. but they do let some go though if the others are not in line. Maybe we can go watch or something.
Also there is an indoor cart racing place not too far either. Have not drove them yet (somewhat expensive) but will sometime in the future. They are still cool to watch.
Just ideas.. all are welcome of course!

Hey sounds like Fun!!!!!!! Yea we can meet up...we will be up there on Fiday evening....Im not sure what hotel (thats cheap) is near the track...if you could do me a favor and get me a number for a few of a cheap hotels near the track, that would be cool...and make sure its in a safe area too.
But yea carting sounds fun....I can't wait to go...... I will let you know soon exactly what time i should be there.
And my number is well....i'll om you that.call any time after 530pm....becasue im at work all day till then..weekends you can call any time.

Is it alright to go even if my car is still stock? I don't want to be humiliated if i go or anything like that. Maybe I can get the weekend off ( I work weekends) and bring my friend who likes cars too!

As soon as I get the information (being mailed) from the guy that is doing the All Ford Day I will make a new post with prices. Also I have made the meet spot before we go to the track.. it will be the RPM Parking lot off Bradshaw North of Hwy. 50. I will post better directions to that spot in a new thread.. but it is actually pretty easy to find. What time would everyone like to meet at RPM? The thing starts at 9am.

Actually RPM doesnt open til 11am I believe but there is a restaurant in the same parking lot. You can always bring a cooler too.. no bottles though.

Yes we are meeting before. 99% sure it will be at the RPM Cart place off Bradshaw and Hwy 50 and probably around 9am. I see one vote for 8am, 2 for 9am and 2 for 10am. For those that are coming from out of town I would be happy to PM you my cell number just incase. This is going to be fun!

Nice. So no glass containers? hypathetically: could we bring glass in a cooler, leave it in my trunk, enjoy the beverages at my car, then walk back in? No.. no glass containers.. and that comes from a friend who does security out there on occation.
However.. the ideas posted by the princess should be fine. Just be respectful and take the empty stuff out with you or find a trash can.

Sacramento Mustang is have their annual "Mustang Fever Car Show" on May 3rd. It starts at 8:00am - 3:00pm at Sacramento Mustang (see map below), 4631 Auburn Blvd. There will be a car show with best of class and best of show places. Also there will be a BBQ all day long with donuts and juice in the morning and door prizes. For Sat May 3rd only they are having a sale. Mustang Car Show Map

Ok my change of plans has been confirmed I will be comming up Saturday morning because i will be my towing friends SVO mustang as well. So my frined Elliot is comming as well!

I am game to do something Saturday.. not sure about carting as I would rather spend that money to go to the Western States Championship this weekend at Sacramento Raceway (April 25th-27th). I would be happy to hang out and watch.. I should have a new digital camcorder by then too. If carting is out there is a Mustang Car show that day that I mentioed in an above post.

Clear out now.. and I am less then 10 minutes from the track. Cant really trust the forecast for Sunday yet.. I have heard rain.. then sunny.. then partly cloudy with chance of rain.. so who knows as of now. Pretty sure if it rains it will be cancelled. Lets keep our fingers crossed!  no rain

All right, I just got new plugs and wires in my car! Now I just gotta see if I'm for sure getting sunday off at work. I'm checking in with my boss today. so everyone keep your fingers crossed. I'll post the results tommorow... Much love!

hey - got home early, I saw Flummox... and I think I saw the princess, see me at lunch? I ran the Coug ATX of d00m and watched Carlos and Lupe run their SVTour's. Was fun. It's too bad nobody really managed to get together to meet up. Next time we're collecting phone numbers to coordinate better

I was wishing I could of got to meet everyone. Did anyone else see me? I hope the couple of you that actually met up had fun. I have been working alot and finally am taking my tests for the CHP academy. I have seminars and ride alongs to go on I will definitely come to the next meet (more organized right? )
