would a lightning intercooler work on a supercharged svt?

Nope.

That intercooler is sandwiched between the roots type blower and the manifold. The supercharger that is available for the SVT is a centrifugal(sp?) type, sort of like a turbo, but driven by a belt instead of exhaust.

The vortech needs a turbo style intercooler.

Yup he is correct, the 03 Cobra is set up the same way. Tho the TBird SC intercooler is next to the rad if IIRC.
