Tom has sold his car, and so has Big Joe. Kevin seems to be heading in that direction too...

That is three vertibrae out of the CCEG backbone. In addition to that, Big Joe ran our website, and Kevin is our Moderator... Huge holes to be filled.

All the while, we haven't been able to add new members, and we are losing our regulars it seems every month or so.

Is there a need for an aggressive campaign of recruiting new members? Are people losing interest?

What are some of your thoughts?

I am upset but times change. People get in accidents, have gone as far as they want to and there is nothing we can do about it. That doesn't mean we can't all meet up like we do. Some of us will have different cars but we are still the CCEG. That is the way I look at it.

Hector, I completely get what your saying. But you know how it is mang. Once people sell their car, it is not the same anymore...

No offense to the official trolls, but you know what I mean...

I just hope that there is not a major exodus. We need more guys.

I'll be here. Contour's Rule!!!!! I love the balance they have cornering. It doesn't feel like a slowmaro or a vette or rustang in the corners, damn those cars have a heavy fukin front end. They do have major balls in the power dept. though. The contour can too with enough money!!! It just takes time...... There are a couple svt contour owners out here I just haven't had a chance to talk to them. They are always driving real fast and most of the time I have my shift box cav. I'll get to em eventaully.

I think other Ford V6's and I4's should be included: Focus, ZX2, Mazda 6, Escort, and Taurus.

I think first, eliminate the "Flame wars", folks got scared off from them!!!! Also, if newbie is at meet, talk to them and make them feel welcome, don't be a clique. One meet at Portillo's, these 2 guys were off by themselves and nobday said "Hi". And true trolls like 'JSVT', "R1Honda" (whoever he was), or little kids with Integras should be ignored or banned.

Just my ideas , don't give up the ship cuz I traded in scarred car.

This was one meet like in Jan 2002 or before. These 2 guys drove all the way from Iowa and ended up sitting by themselves at Portillo's. I went and chatted w/them for a bit.
