Ask a friend to put the car in gear and lock the brakes while applying a little gas. Examine the engine to see if it's lifting or rocking free of the mounts. A little clunk is normal. You could also look under the car while your (trusted) friend goes from forward to reverse so you can see how much flex is in the drive line. Scott 95 SE-2.5L ATX (Sold, but not forgotten...)
