Has anyone added speakers to the headrest of their Contiques? My RX-7 came with them and (despite 1980's sound quality) I am totally addicted.

Just wondered what might all be involved in adding them to a Contour.

Buy a couple old Sega Rally 2 Arcade machines and put the seats in the Contour, or buy a walkman and headphones...

Were they similar to the speakers in the fiero where there was one on each side of the headrest?

My ExG had a miata with the speakers on the headrest,,,I they were probably 5" no bigger. makes sense in a convertible due to wind noise...but in a hardtop,,you want the music coming from behind, anyway?

Yes, there is one on each side of the headrest with regular and surround modes switchable on the console. I know that it isn't the normal ideal to have the speakers there, but it is a nice addition to the sound when it's all in balance.
