OK, I did the TH fix and the moose is dead. But alas, the revs dropped off way too quick when I pushed in the clutch, and made matching the revs when I shifted and let the clutch out a chore. Plus, when I started the car first thing in the morning, the revs would only go up to about 1,300 instead of the normal 2,200-2,500 or so when cold.

So, I started playing with the size of the hole in the copper plug. Each day I widened it by about 1/32"-1/64". Per Beachbum's suggestion I also wrapped electrical tape around the copper cap. Well, the problem is just about fixed. I am at 15/64" right now. The moose is still dead and the revs are almost normal. Tonight I will up to 1/4" and try again. Sue thinks I'm nuts, but this thing really does work. I love CEG!
