What is the difference between NASA and SCCA. I know that the SCCA is the Sports Car Club of America, but am not sure what NASA is. also what are the differences between their classes and levels of competition. I have a friend who runs an 86 325i in the chicago area BMWCCA, and ive been to some of those events and have a fairly good idea of how an autocross event works. Thanks for clearing this up and next summer, i hope to get started in the sport. It just looks so damn fun. Thanks again.

Find out more about the National Auto Sport Association at www.nasaproracing.com

Lots of little differences, but mostly, NASA is newer and not available everywhere just yet. They run their own racing series, their autox rules are based on a slightly different philosophy, etc.

I'd have to say that from what i've heard scca supports nore traditional racing, while nasa better supports newer enthusiasts who would like to get into racing. In general of course.
