Blew up my 96 2.5l w/5sp, found a 50k mile 2.5l that was on a 97 /w auto. My 2.5l did not have a pilot bushing on the end of crank, the auto 2.5l does. Do I need to remove the bushing? I bolted the 5sp onto the motor, but I can't tell how much clearance there is between the bushing in the end of the crank, and the transmission input shaft. The input shaft is larger than the bushing ID.
If I need to pull the bushing, any ideas how?

Thanks
Scot
