I'm clearing the faults in my 95 'stique Duratech one by one and have a 628 that I don't know about. -My haynes lists a 627 and a 629 as trans (auto) codes but not the 628. Does anybody have a description for 628?
Incidentally, I bought the car used from a nice old guy that had it serviced regularly at Cross-Town auto in Toronto. He kept all the receipts; one was for ABS/TCS service @ $350.00. When I checked, they had removed the ACS and TCS warning lightbulbs from the dash! Some service eh?? Also they e-passed the car when he sold it to me.. I had the throttle body off and the EGR passages in the flange we packed tight with crud!! -So if you're in the GTA, avoid Cross-town auto!
