I'm looking to mount a camera on the windshield of my car (suction cups). It's a Sony Hi-8 video camera, so the wieght isn't a big deal and it mounts to any standard 35mm tripod just like the still cameras do. Anyone know where they sell mounts like this?

i know this isn't suction cups, but what i've seen is a 1x4 used in the car. drill holes that fit the headrest mounts in both ends of the wood, and there ya go!

The problem with that is that my Windstar doesn't have headrests per se. They are integrated into the seats and there is no place to attach such a mount (I've seen what you are talking about). I want to be able to use this in all my vehicles.

Yeah, I've seen that, but it won't mount in my Windstar.
