i have a B&M short throw shifter. i am having probles with shifter cables braking where it hooks up to the gear slecter on the B&M..ford and there plastic crap..please help me
98 SVT, clutch masters flywheel, spec stage2 clutch, quaife ,y pipe. and only MOBIL-1 oil.

Hmm, haven't had trouble with mine. What kinds of tools are you using to snap the thing onto the B&M? Maybe you're putting pressure on the plastic in a weird way and weakening it. Mine snapped on with little effort via needle nose pliers. One other possibiity would be that your B&M has some deformity causing extra stress down there.
you have the old cable (the good one) .. i have the new cable that uses a spring and a button to hold it on the ball-jont,,,,, its all plastic and sucks.. well i will put another one and see if it brakes . thanks helping me!!!!! your a good man
