not sure if thats whats wrong, went to auto zone, and the code cam up for clogged converter, and insuffcient flow through the egr valve, got a new egr valve replaced yesterday, the hissing noise has gone away, and i got alot of power back in the car which i'm really happy about, the cel has gone off, now i still have one problem, and it happens more when my car has been sitting for long periods of time...i will start the car up, start to drive, but if i give it alot of gas, usually around 3500 rpm's it will just stop going up, the car hesitates, and if i'm in first gear it will usually shut off, then the car has touble starting, it turns, and when i give t some gas, it then will start...once i start driving for about 5 mins it will act fine, sometimes though i can still not get my rpm's over 4000, is this a possible side affect or symptons from a clogged converter or maybe bad spark plugs?? any help would be appreciated...thanks
