Well guys, just wanna tell everyone to be safe.
My roommate almost died Thursday night from alcohol poisoning and a mix of ectasy (he didn't know about the E).
The doctors said he was about one drink away from death.
We spent the night in the hospital, and arrived home around 5am the following day. The cops came to my room around 9am the same day, bangin on my door. Woke everyone in the hall, except me. I guess they were out there for about 5 minutes before I finally awoke and answered the door. They were yellin and what not.
He's gonna be alright, but I can tell he is messed up still. He has trouble talking, and his response is much slower. Hopefully just short term side effects.
So, just be careful with your drinking, even though a lot of us enjoy it a whole lot. Remember your loved ones.

Wow, that sucks, Andy. Good to hear he's alive - I'm sure he'll recover. I have a friend who almost died from alcohol poisoning, too. He passed out in some bushes, but luckily some passers-by found him and called 911.
