OK, new problem with my car again. My car's check engine light keep coming on. When I first start it, no matter when, it always revs high. Then it will come down and the check engine light is on. The only other thing that it does is buck. That is annoying enough. I hate this car! I am so ready to sell it or trade it in, I cannot stand it! Damn times when I should have listened to my honda friends. I hate my FORD! I will never ever buy another ford again, no matter the type. A company that makes a car this shitty needs to be sued. ERRR!!!!!! Thanks for listening to me vent.

First of all...Breathe in, breathe out... Feel better now?" Take the car to Auto Zone, they will check the CEL for free. It might be something really simple. I would rather own a bad running Contour than a good running Honda But thats just my opinion

I would guess your CEL is an idle air speed control code.... bet the TSP sensor is bad...
2003 Subaru WRX some mods
Even if you don't have the answer, you certainly have to admire the problem.

Like Ken said, get the car to Autozone and get the code, then come back to us. Originally posted by ZetecRacing: I would guess your CEL is an idle air speed control code.... bet the TSP sensor is bad...
I'll second this bet!

My experiences tell me you could have a bad O2 sensor. When this happens the computer goes into closed loop which will always cause it to rev higher than normal. Many different specifics involved but that's my guess. Once you pull the code you'll know for sure. Being you have a 95 you should still have the OBDI or EEC4 system so you can pull the codes yourself.

What is a CEL????? I am not very mechanical. I should have my mechanic check it out. I prefer my mechanic over autozone. But that is just me. I will let you all know. THANKS for the advice, but i am still selling this car. I like the way hondas look and they sound bad a$$ when they go over 4000 RMP!!!

A CEL is your Check Engine Light. Sometimes you may hear them called (but rarely here) MIL, or a Malfunction Indicator Light.

Honestly, hondas suck. I beat this civic, and he had it all modded w/ intake and exhaust, (mine is 100% stock) it was pathetic.... bear in mind he had decals of "NOS", "FlowMaster" "Type-R" "Powered by Honda" etc... rice . I would be pretty lame of you to go to honda... it's too popular and trendy . I hate hondas, they are crap just like daewoo (lol a daewoo performance site LOL ). Ford is good, it just sounds like you got a little maintenance problem w/ your O2 sensor, the computer goes into a "sh*t mode" so it makes you take it to a mechanic (theoretically), so they can fix the sensor through OBDII code readings. OBDII is just "On Board Diagnostics [version] Two" It is like under the steering wheel I think, but will vary. It just takes raw readings from the cars ECM (Electronic Control Module [computer]) and put it in the scanner connected to the OBDII port and the scanner can decode the codes to see what the problem is. Also, OBDII's can also dyno a car if you are ever so cheap ... there is free programs on the net that graph car info from OBDII. So back to my point, don't turn rice stay with for a bit more... try a mustang atleast before you travel your way to honda .

Well, I can't sell it. My parents said no! Oh well. Guess I have to take a lemon and make lemonade. My muffler is cut off and it sounds pretty bad a$$! I saw these really nice wheels on Ebay. Will probably buy them. Anyway, I am going to have my mechanic look at it. Sorry, I haven't had time. Oh well. Its still runnin. I think it is my O2 sensor. We will see what happens. I love beating rice too. Even though I would like a rice burner, just without the decals and all. I don't want to scream rice. I've also started a trend at school! Now all the other tours are getting one wipers too! HAHAHAHA!!!!
