I know I read somewhere how to remove the armrest in a 98+ contour, but I just searched and couldn't find it. I used the tie-rod splitter to get the little ball out, but theres a little black bar in the and I don't know what to do. Can someone please help me PLEASE!!!!!!!!

That black bar is really a bolt that threads into the seat frame, and theres a nut on the bolt that you can turn with a wrench. (I'm not sure what size, I used a crescent wrench)
