OP byfordjr_dup1 Newbie B Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 4 TX	I am about to replace my timing belt on a '97 Contour. The Haynes manual says that I must put in a spring and retaining pin for the tensioner. Has anyone done this, is it necessary and where do I find this part? It's not listed at fordparts.com and does anyone know how much it cost? Thanks, Byfordjr 1997 Ford Contour 4dr, Z-TEC 4 cylinder, that Longhorn Dodge thouroughly screwed the wiring up on.
