My car won't start. I jumped it and it ran just fine til I
turned it off and let it sit for about thirty mins. and it would not start again. the only things that I could think of would be the battery or the alternator. Can anyone think of anything else that could be wrong.

Maybe the alterantor, but your local Advance or AutoZone will test the battery for free. Check it out.

heh...i got my car back from my tranny shop...they told me my battery was dead...year old, and they tried to tell me that the alternator went bad...jumped it, turned every electric accesory on in my car..worked fine, so it wasnt alternator.

run your car and try to turn everything on, if everything works fine..but possibly the lights..its probably the battery
