i know about kkm etc... but i remember somebody on here posting something about a Washable filter, that doesnt need oil etc... anyone have info on that?

K&N Filters are washable since the filter is made of gauze. It uses suspended oil to trap dirt and other particles. K&N claims a hp/torque increase but I see it as an environmentally friendly re-useable filter.

No he is talking about the S&B filter that comes with the KKM intake! I don't recall ever hearing of a washable filter that doesn't need oil. Maybe it's one of rht foam filters!

S&B and KKM are one in the same. It's a conical filter. I do remember hearing about the non oil one but I can't recall much about it. Why are you too lazy to wash it once every 30k or so? The cleaner stuff is like $10 and lasts for about 4-5 cleanings.
