how come when ordering a new intake or i should say the intake pipe it says that u have to let them know if it is an svt or not. it says the svt has 4 port holes instead of 3. well i was looking and my svt only has 3 port holes and one plug. did the early model svt's only have 3?

On the SVT, 3 hoses hook up to the accordian plus the IAT sensor. On non-SVTs, the IAT sensor mounts in hole in the air box. Closer the to TB is actually better. Get an SVT pipe, and relocate your IAT so it attaches to the pipe. (My wires were long enough, but splicing in an extra 3" of wire is no biggie if needed...)

This is the reason i was asking. i blew up my Svt engine and could not find a reasonable deal on one. so i bought a reg 2.5L engine and put it in. i had to use my svt accordian tube and filter and just happened to notice that it only had 3. thanks for the help. much appreciated
