Its a little harder than just buying a turbo and tubing. You better get ready to spend atleast 4000 dollars. Pectel FMU is like a 1000 alone. Most zetec kits that i have seen are going with a t-3/t-04 hybrid. Just buy a kit from the demon otherwise you are going to nickel and dime yourself to death. http://www.zetecinside.com/xr2/index.htmhttp://www.focussport.com/prod8.htm http://www.fordracing.com/

Well here is my take on it. Your headers, at least primaries need to be at least 316L if not 321 stainless to take the heat. Very expensive and very hard to work with. The tubing to the turbo needs to be 304L. The you need a blow off valve, engine management, hoses, clamps, flanges, and a turbo. How about an intercooler? Those materials are going to exceed 2k easy. Then throw in 1k for dyno time to try to tune your kit. For comparison, Street Flight has almost 10k in dyno opportunity cost on the V6 version. You won't spend less than 3k in materials and tuning. If you are willing to spend 3k I suggest spending 1k more and get a dyno tested kit. My .02.
7psi would yeild more than 25hp. If 14.7 is double atomosphere, we could say for argument sake, that would double the output of your motor. If you get 110hp now and you add half I would estimate about 50hp gain at 7psi, depending on wheather or not it's intercooled.

As they said, forget about the turbo unless you want to invest in a kit. It sounds to me like you and nitrous oxide would be a perfect match.

well, the piping isn't an issue, my dad can custom bend the pipes to fit, may be time consuming, but it works, saves alot alot alot of money. As for Intercooler, i can scoop one up for like 45 bucks or less depending where i get it, T25 with Internal Wastegate. we have the layout for the opening flange and have an extra 2.0L manifold with a cut flange being fitted. just need an actuator, going to see if the one from my dads old T3 / T4 whatever turbo will fit (from a F250 7.3L diesel) im sure it will ,it's a smaller actuator, lucky ass him has Gale Banks parts on that thing, anyway.. i'll try to get pictures ASAP, and let everyone know.

that's sounds cool, turbos really aren't that expensive, it's just the custom kits, tuning, dyno time, etc. that make the prices so high on them,,, if all you had to do was bolt on a turbo,, i'd have one right now.
