Woo Hoo! I'm glad it's back.
Anyway....
Who has aftermarket shift knobs (MTX) and where did you get them from. The leather one that came on mine has started to come apart. Ford was trying to quote like $80 for a replacement.

I have a Momo Air/Race Leather and a CF-look cobra-style that I alternate. They're not screw on (allen screws), but I like them.
IIRC the Cougar and Mondeo knobs are direct screw on options.

I have the MOMO aluminum and CF knobby. I like a lot. The Cougar drop in was nice, though...

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Right now I'm rowing with a cheapo vinyl temporary. I'll be replacing that very soon.

I had a Sparco Globe R in my SVT. Really comfortable, just got hot in the summer. It fits with the reverse lockout perfectly.

At Fun Ford Weekend a couple of weeks ago (Epping, NH) A company called UPR Products had a huge spread with a ton of billet aluminum products. Many different types of shift knobs. Now my question is...if they were designed to fit the Mustang, will they fit on a Contour? If so, then definately check out www.uprproducts.comIf not...then nevermind

toucan industries makes carbon fiber shift knobs which look good and fit well. I have a 96 auto mystique and I used their AUTO Carbon shifter. It comes with everything you need and goes for $40.
