Thx for the replies, here is a few answers along with some additional info:

YES it is.
Eric L:
it is very similar.
Reverse lockout is just a bolt-on block, can removed any time! But I like the original looks, but with performance installed.........
The 2-3 assist spring (green arrow) is an extra piece supplied by Steeda.
If you look at "shifter mechanism" and "cutout in console" pictures, you can see the original wound up spring just beside the lever going towards the bottom, and in the console pic. you can see the original spring on both sides of the lever (it's the wire with rubber insulation). Thats the original "get-in-neutral" spring. The Steeda is an additional spring to aid the 2-3 shift.

I know with the B&M, I have had no need to install any kind of riser plate, I wonder where the differences are that warrant a need for that?
Have a look at the shifter comparison picture and the picture with the ruler. See that the Steeda is longer below the pivot point? It hits the bottom of the car without the riser plate!
I just might try out that "without spring" mod.......thx

It only works on latemodels with cable shift.
Just FYI you can look here and then you can see a comparison between the stock shifter, B&M and FocusCentral shifter. Look the the dimensions there and them look at the comparison pictures here, then you'll know why it just doesn't fit in a mondy/contique
