Under heavy acceleration the car tends to studder, kind of like I was releasing the gas and pressing it repeatedly, or like when its about to stall out. Any idea??

I had that same(?) hesitation during heavy acceleration since I bought the car (new). After an initial pull, the engine hesitates at medium rpm before it pulls again as the rpm rises.

I always thought that this is related to the intrinsic torque vs rpm curve of the CSVT. Is it possible?
